My 1967 Dodge Coronet 440

This is my 1967 Dodge Coronet 440. Its a 2 door hardtop, powered by a 383 in front of a 727 torqueflite and an 8.75" rear. It was originally equipped with a 318. Its a factory A/C car, and also came with the AM radio. The radio still works, but the A/C equipment is gone. It has about 66,000 original miles.

Obviously, the car needs some work, although it seems very good, as project cars go. It does currently run and drive, the body is pretty straight, and there are only a few spots where some rust issues need to be addressed.

I'm not 100% sure what I am going to do with this one, it won't be a factory resto though, since the original car isn't incredibly rare or impressive. I'm planning to turn it into something I can drive and enjoy. I'll definitely be hooking the A/C back up, possibly using late model components. I have no idea what color I'll be painting it. My plans might change after I get into the motor, but currently I am leaning towards rebuilding or freshening up the 383. I'm not sure what I'm doing for the fuel system on this one; I might just stick with a carb, or go the Megasquirt EFI route. As far as power goes, I'm not going to go crazy with the motor, just make it something fun to drive that will give me a healthy kick in the pants when I need it.
